Future Tech Week 2020

Celebrating Future and Emerging Technologies
with an eye to EIC Pathfinder‘s Future

The European Innovation Council (EIC) and the FETFX project  are inviting all past and present EIC Pathfinder FET projects to join in celebrating Europe’s future and emerging technologies at the Future Tech Week 2020, running 21-25 September.

Future Tech Week provides EIC Pathfinder FET projects with a platform from which to blast their exciting findings, results and future paths to innovation to a wide range of stakeholders – in short, to everyone! Showcase your achievements in fields aligning with the European Commission’s priorities, including Artificial Intelligence and information technology, health and biotech, culture and society, energy and environment, and nanotech and materials.

The inaugural Future Tech Week edition (2019) was a resounding success, attracting 85 participating projects. This year’s event, which will also be part of the European Union’s flagship research event Research & Innovation Days’, an impressive online event that will take place on the 22-24 September.

If you wish to be part of this incredible edition of Future Tech Week send us your material: from a recorded lab tour, experiment or prototype demonstration, to a webinar, a narrated presentation, a news story, etc. Contributions of all kinds are welcome, with creativity and resourcefulness encouraged! With the launch of Horizon Europe around the corner, 2020 is a pivotal year – and the right time to share your visions for the future.

If you have questions, need guidance, or would like to propose a session for Future Tech Week 2020, the FETFX communicators are here to help. Contact us at futuretechweek@fetfx.eu. We invite you to submit your ideas starting 13 July.

Do not forget that the five-day event will be accompanied by an extensive social media campaign which anyone can join by simply tweeting the hashtag #EICFTW.
